a "z06" silverado wouldn't even be close to the SRT-10 maybe a blown heads/cam 6.0 truck would get close though

My brother has a SS. Its pretty cool. The interior is one of the best parts, he just put QTP electric cut-outs on it and it sounds like a dam nascar. The coolest part is he only paid 30 grand tax title and L., When you do two tours in Afganistan and one in iraq you tend to save some cash. When we went to the 8th of a mile track the was running 9sec.

Where did I put that thing.....

Oh yeah, here it is:

Mine ran 10.03 in the 8th when it was new except I had LS1 edit. Everyone I've seen has run way upper 9s or low 10s stock. One or two guys have posted a 9.5 in stock form, and I've wanted to call BS on it, but no way to a 9.1. Take the BS elsewhere.

I ran a 9.5 1/8th with a UPD and E-fans

then with the exhaust and TT3000 i ran a 9.3 in the 1/8th, 14.8 in the 1/4

Cutouts arent gonna get that truck to run a 9.1 either

Exactly!!! A 9.1 1/8th is like a very low 14 second 1/4 mile run. No SilvSS will run that in stock form, cutout or no cutout.

damn you guys, i wanted to call BS on that one but didn't cuz i figured he was gonna say a 9.99@xx.xx so i didn't. it took a 75 shot/shorty headers, and some other mods to get my old setup to run 9.00@79.xx so a stock heavy SS isn't gonna do it.
