stock Lightnings are slow. mine ran only 13.80s @ 100 mph. some guys this time of year in the cold are can push 13.5-13.6. esp the newer 03-04s. much stronger than the 99-00.

pullied and chiped, different story.

should i go back down to a 3.73 rear end?or should i stick with the 4.10 ratio. this is my every day driver vehicle

would this be a good cam .224 .230 .581 .588 112lsa be the size cam i need and would i need to do any piston or head work to make this cam work.

please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

some springs for sure for that cam. if you can get the heads cleaned up some it will help a lot. no need to change the setup for that cam.

what size tire you planning on running with that setup? dr's at the track i hope. cause if you don't. guess what, you won't stop spinning by the time you hit the 1/8 mile mark.
as far as the stock L yea i think with that setup and traction you should have him covered. but like mentioned. pullied and chipped L. well, be on your A game cause those things run hard.

should i go back down to a 3.73 locker would that be the better rearend for me since this is my ever day driver. i reordered me a new cam it is .224 .228 .581 .588 114lsa is that one good enough cam for my stall or is it to big please help

agreed with gamdawg. just make sure you have some et streets or equivlenant to launch at the track...
