quick question about the Tahoe front suspension and the Silverado Front suspension

Man wish I could find some demension drawing on both frame to know for sure. Really looking for just a quick bolt up and go.

Man the frames look really similar. Besides being fully boxed in the mounting points seem to be in all the right places. Let me see what I can find. Would be pretty killer to have the new style front suspension with the aluminum suspension components under an older truck. Let me see what I can find looks pretty promising. Doubt GM changed much in the frame designs.

I know its looking at pics but damned it it doesnt look like the only dofference is the inner wall of the frame on the newer frame....

Yep looks all the same minus little things. From what I found spec wise is the wheel base between the GMT800 and the GMT900 are exactly the same at 119". Only difference is in the track width. GMT900 being 68 and GMT800 being 65.

That could be axle width. And longer control arms up front!!

yep its only 1.5 inch wider on each side but wonder how that would look. Don't really want the wheels to stick out past the body. Will make it look off. going to have to do some measuring.
