Apparently, you type much faster than I do. :nunchuk1:

Online...then i go to America's Tire Co., and have them beat the price locally.

Last time I checked Dunlop was it...and I think they went south of the border.

Toyo and Hankook are not American companies.

Dunlop is owned by Goodyear, and is still an American company as far as I know.

Cooper is also an American tire company.

I just put a set of Toyo Proxies II on...seem pretty good so far. Great traction when I stomp on it instead of just burning rubber, less hiway wandering in the truck lane.
As for buying American - whenever possible (I own 2 Chevs), but I buy quality, and wrapping an item in the flag doesn't make a crappy product good - customer service does. Thats something the airlines, car makers, cable companies, banks, builders, NAPA and a few other declining monopolies need to remember. U think GM/Ford/Dodge wuda replaced my shortblock 3mos out of warranty like Porsche did after #1 cyl blew - doubtful.

I guess I should have mentioned the size is 285/60/17....there aren't that many options

The Hankooks are cheap, I can get 4 delivered for less than $400

Oops, typo corrected!!

I've got the Hankooks and really like them so far. They are head and shoulders above the Goodyear Eagle LS's that came with the 20's.

285/70/17? wow thats a big tire, its almost a 33 inch tire. the closest to that in the rh06's i saw was a 285 60 17, but thats only about a 30.5.
