PROXES STII's or VENTUS ST RHO6

I love my Hankooks. Good traction but I don't make the power like you Trever. I know the Hankooks are made in Korea but were are the proxes made. Looked on tirerack and they say, depending on size, the General Grabbers are either made in USA, Portugal, Czech Republic, South Africa, or Germany. I'm determine to buy American made items this year.

I just put a set of Toyo Proxies II on...seem pretty good so far. Great traction when I stomp on it instead of just burning rubber, less hiway wandering in the truck lane.
As for buying American - whenever possible (I own 2 Chevs), but I buy quality, and wrapping an item in the flag doesn't make a crappy product good - customer service does. Thats something the airlines, car makers, cable companies, banks, builders, NAPA and a few other declining monopolies need to remember. U think GM/Ford/Dodge wuda replaced my shortblock 3mos out of warranty like Porsche did after #1 cyl blew - doubtful.

I guess I should have mentioned the size is 285/60/17....there aren't that many options
The Hankooks are cheap, I can get 4 delivered for less than $400
Oops, typo corrected!!
