Default problem with windshield wipers

just wondering if you guys have had this problem.

when i turn on my windshield wipers they usually work for a little bit then they will just quit working, after a while they usually come back on but no telling how long. Not sure if the windshield wiper motor is somehow getting wet or there is a flakey short somewhere or what.

guess im gonna have to take off the nitrous install and head up to the dealership while i still have 1400 miles left on my warrenty lol

i had a 95 s-10 with 4.3l v6 and the wipers would do the same thing, but they would stop when it was raining and not come back on. if you rolled down the window and pulled an arm it would start back up but if you didn't it was useless. turned out the vaccum line or something on it was messed up and the factory had to replace it. i don't know if that helps at all being from an old s-10 but i hope it does. my wipers on my silverado don't work very well if i'm traveling above 60 or so, they don't seem to make good contact with the windshield itself. any cures for that?

Matt

kind of like they're skipping along or jumping? leaves little streaks parallel to the wipers along the path? cuz if so mine do that too and it is pretty annoying since for some reason it rains every sunday when i'm on my way back to school.

if it isn't the blades, maybe go get yourself some rain x. At 60 you probably won't even need them on. Rain x is beautiful.
