Default Prepping fuel system for turbo

I've got an 01 2500HD that I'm considering turboing. Before I do that however, I'd like to get the fuel system ready to go. My goal is ~600 crank.

My truck has a return fuel system, and my understanding is that the rails/regulator will handle this power level without issue. However, I know the fuel pump will need some help.

After doing some reading, I'm leaning toward the Quantum 340 drop in assembly, as it appears to be ready to go without doing any mods. Should this get me where I need to go?

a 340 LPH pump should handle that power no problem. I know nothing of the pump quality or longevity though.

It's also possible the 340 will overpower the stock regulator. I know a 255 is fine... I dont know about a 340.

Is there an aftermarket regulator that will bolt onto the stock rail?

Running a 340 in aeromotive drop in module with hotwire kit and stock fpr in rail for 2 years, no issue. Make about 600 rwhp

Heres what I did to my truck

But now that atomic makes a regualtor bypass that would work much cleaner, or do what did and get a 04 and up no return fuel rail. I also ran a walbro 400 pump and it fit in the bucket no problem. I did however make my own hotwire kit, I ran a 14 gauge power wire back to the tank and put it though a bulkhead fitting in the top of the sending unit along with a new ground too. Make sure you get a quality regualtor though, I got a professional products one the first time and I could not get it to stop leaking, I think the threads were cut wrong. Zero problems with the aeromotive
