Default Powerstroke gets DRUUUUGGGGG!!!!

Went fishing and drinking Saturday night. with the guys out at the lake. Well, there were 2 Ford (96 Powerstroke, and a V6) and 3 Chevys (Mine, a 2001 2500 HD 4x4 4dr 6.0, and a 2003 2500 HD 4x4 extcab 6.0) Well after drinking and **** talking about who is who, the powerstroke and 2001 6.0 hooked up. Lets just say, the 6.0 pulled it around like I wouldn't believe if I had not have seen it. I was like me playing tug-o-war with my 3 year old. No Contest!!! Now the 6.0 did have it in 4 hi, but the stroke owner knew it. Had a lot of fun until the next morning and the hangover.....

I guess the Ford was a 2wd? If so, he was dumb for even hooking the truck up.

On a dove hunting trip years ago there was a shoving match between a late-90's Powerstroke 4x4 5-speed and a mid-80's K5 Blazer. Both the trucks had heavy-duty grille guards so there wasn't much worry about tearing anything up. I was riding shotgun in the K5. With the K5 in 4LO and the Ford in 4HI it was a dead even pushing match, and the K5 would actually gain a little ground when the guy in the Ford had to push in the clutch to shift and wait for the turbo to spool up again. We went again, but this time the Ford was in 4LO too. It was no contest. The Ford pushed that K5 backwards like there was nothing in front of it.

Gotta love those redneck games. I was drinking with same friends in Cleveland Tx about 6 months ago and got into something simular. A buddy has a new cummins 4dr 2wd. He made some wise cracks about my lowered chevy, so i broke out the tow chain. I had my honda rancher in the back still, so i knew i would have better traction. I pulled his drunk *** all the way down the street, He was roasting both tires. I must say i felt a little proud after that.
