Default power window conversion

Does anybody know how involved it will be to convert my truck over to factory power windows? I have a guy who's got the door panels, motors w/regulators and the inside door wiring harness for sale. Would my truck have the wiring under the dash ready to plug in?

I've been thinking off doing this as well, you should have the wiring under the dash for it already so it shouldn't be too awfully hard.

off topic: Where in New Hampshire are you from? I grew up in Coos county until i joined the military.

Well, I have power locks in mine. I've been told that the harness would already be in the doors. I'd just need the door panels and motor/actuator assembly.

The wiring will not be inside the doors. But if you do get a harness and plug it in the drivers side fuse box it will still not work. For the past week or so Ive been converting all my interior to power and to a V8. I had to get a complete interior harness but it still didnt work with my V6 engine (V6 has cable throttle, V8 has DBW)

My truck is an '03 RCSB, Maybe in the 99-02 you dont have to.

When they did mine,(2003 silverado) the guy said an 03 harness will not work, and they would have to put a 2002 harness with those 2002 door panels and switches. But i decided to get an engine swap, so everything connected perfect with my new harness.

Are you saying they had to put an '02 dash harness in? The panels, motors and wiring harness i'm looking at are from an '05.

Looks like I might have to invest in the Helms manuals. I want to add power locks also
