I am considering doing this with my new beater truck. I have a connector under the drivers seat, but none under the passenger seat. Is there a harness that plugs in someplace to make the jump from drivers side to passenger side? I wonder if the stock harness has the seat heater wires already in it?

I want to do this in my stepside as well. Would like the option to tilt the seat bottom like I can in my dually. Also need an armrest after my console install like budhayes3. The console is just too low and hard to rest your arm on.

So does anyone know where the seat harness connects under the dash in the 03+ trucks? Does it jump from drivers seat to passenger, or do both sides originate from under the dash? I have a connector under the drivers seat but none under the passengers seat.

Don't know about the harness, but isn't it just a power and ground to the seats?

Yeah it is......but i was entertaining the idea of using the seat heaters too. I just wanted to see where they plug in at the harness. I figured i could install the seat heater switch but i would need to know how the Driver and passenger door modules interface with the seats. I was hoping they didnt go through the BCM, but they probably do. I know the memory stuff goes through the BCM.

Gotcha, wasn't thinking about the heaters, or the memory for that matter.

Im not sure how the 03+ trucks work, but it the 99-02s it appears there is power from the harness going to the door switch, and that must have a resister/off to cut the power to turn the heat on or off and the resister for different heat settings, doesnt seem to go through the bcm

Is anyone familiar with where the power seat harness plugs in under the dash?
