What kinda mileage you get with those? and hows the ride quality?

my dad has a 2006 2500 silverado it rides good but only gets 10 mpg and like 8 towing a 28 foot enclose car tralier

I think the 1500 rides much smoother then the 2500 and I get a solid 16 to 20 mpg depending on the conditions, drove 280 miles back and forth to Cape Canav last week and got 21 mpg on the trip, that a crew cab 4x4 with 32" tires and a tool box full of clevis', tools, chairs, 100 lb bed mat and 100 lb sub. I did notice that my mileage drop a little with the front air deflector/bug guard and mud flaps (probably 1 mpg).

i love mine.. mileage depends on driving style. i STRONGLY SUGGEST buying one.
