Default PCM and Cluster ?'s

Just curious, but does the PCM affect the dash cluster's readout in anyway?

With the 5.3 and 6.0, I've noticed my RPM's to be consistenly 200 rpms high on my Escalade cluster vs the Predator's Real Time Data screen.

It appears that since my tune for the 6.0l, that my ECT temps read about 10* higher on the cluster compared to when I had the 5.3 tune. Everything reads the same on the predator (~177*). The thing that suprised me the most is that I can now NEVER to get my gas guage to read above full. Even when I know she's about to overflow the fill neck it's just a hair below the full line, when before I couldn't get it to drop down past the full mark for about 50 miles or so.

Nothing major, just curious.

Before i installed my escalade cluster, my low fuel light would come on when I had about 5 gallons or so left. With the escalade cluster, the light only comes on when I have about 1 gallon left.

That is because the cluster is programmed for the Escalade's larger tank.

OBX... my tack is nearly dead on with autotap so I dont know what the deal is with yours. For the ECT, you could actually be running 10* warmer with the 6.0 if youi still have a 28" radiator. And the fuel guage... welcome to the club. My guage it all over the place here lately. I believe mine is a sending unit problem though.

my gas gauge is all over the place as well. i can fill up and it will stop below the full line. then when it dips a tad below a quarter of a tank my low fuel light comes on. i just try to keep gas in it.
