my passenger leather powerseat has like a 1/2 inch of play in it. when you sit in it the beack part moves back and forth. anyone have any problems like this or know how i can fix it.

My leather pass. side seat does the same thing...never noticed until my wife drove home one night from the bar (too much on my part). Every time the truck would hit a bump, I could feel it move a little bit. It's like it has slack in the mechanism or something, but it's just a little bit. Just enough to irritate me....no idea how to go about fixing it, though.

 

I would think that the c-clips could be replaced and possibly moved in closer to the mechanism. That or some sort of support for the motor.

 

my friends z71 has this problem too he off roads a lot i think its from all the rocking around of the passenger . hmmm funny all u guys got 4x4's too u off road them alot ??

 

No, not really...I mean, sometimes I'll pull the truck onto the grass in the front yard to wash it. But I'm hardcore like that, lol. The strange thing is, people rarely ride in the pass. seat.
