Default Part Numbers for Stock Spark Plugs and wires - 2002 Tahoe?

Hey Guys,

I am looking to do a tune up on my 2002 Tahoe and was wondering where I could find the part numbers for the stock plugs and wires? I would like to find the wires with the heat shields if possible.

Thanks,
Deech

The heat shields are not part of the wires, and run whatever brand wire you like. These short length wires from GM are not anything special. The OEM plugs will be a ACDelco iridium plug available at any parts house or dealership, I don't remember the part number anymore but they won't be hard to find.

Thanks for the response. Do you have any recommendations on how to take off the wires without damaging the heat shields?

Grab the spark plug boot with a pair of large needle nose. Shouldn't be too tricky.

Don't grab the wire and pull (you probably know this, but just in case). They have special spark plug boot pliers with plastic tips. I picked up a pair after I ripped one of the boots in half with my pliers, costs about $5.

Twist the boot first before trying to pull it off.

I always go with NGK TR5 plugs and the cheapest wires i can find.
