The way i look at it is what itll cost to build. Diesel trucks alone can be 20k-30k for a newer, clean, low milage truck. Then dump probably 20k in it to get into the 11's..or spend less then 10k for a low mileage, clean silverado and another 10k to get into the 11's

i like diesels but im a huge fan of ls based motors. I just recently parted out my mid 8 second drag car that had a solid roller 6.2 made 867hp at the crank. so thats why i decided to build this truck up a little. i really have no use for a diesel

We have those up here also. 99% of the time all they did was an exhaust and some tuner that they stuff up in the window.

Then there is that other 1% that surprises the **** out of you.. LOL

You need some lower gears, 37's and 4.10's do not compute with me.

Really depends on what truck your lining up against and how "built" it is. I took a supercharged denali in my old 6.0 but I had studs, injectors, tune, exhaust and e list goes on and on, not an easy win but a win

A lot of 6.0s 6.6s, 6.4s and some 5.9s are quick, watch out for the 6.4s though those can be rockets with a tune and exhaust alone your in the 12s.
