BTW, I have a new video camera made by sony an it takes the small video tapes.
Will that make good footage or not? It lokks good on my TV but will it work on DVD?

 

it will work, mini DV is ideal and that may be what you have but we can probably get anything to work.

 

Hey Jim, can you have Kyle let us know how he wants to do this and that is is ready to recieve footage. I wanna get the ball rolling and want to make sure he is cool with doing it, otherwise I have to get in touch with Dylan and see if he wants to.

I'll start a new thread and have one of the guys make it a sticky with the intructions on where to send the video and with what info.

 

Pretty much the entire video on our site was done over the web. Ideally I need the video already in digital format. People were shooting videos on their digital cameras and either posting a link for me to download from or file transfering over AOL instant messanger.

As far as sending $$$... um... I was gonna do it free of charge, but hell you can send me money if you want! J/K

you guys go ahead and pick who you want to do it. kyle will probably take awhile but you know his work and we can work with about any format as long as we have the tape. kyle like to work with crazy high quality(big files) so tapes are best.
