Is it ok to remove the front driveshaft for dyno only
#1
I was reading some old posts on the subject but I was wondering if there was any new info. Most of the posts I read were from 2005.
It's the truck in my sig.
How safe would it be to remove my front drive-shaft just to drive 5 miles to the shop do 3 dyno pulls and drive back and reinstall it? Would the dyno results be accurate with only the rear shaft?
Thanks,
Mike

No!!! You will burn up the viscous coupler in the AWD transfer case.
