Default odd problem

I was driving my '06 around last night and I noticed my turn signals we acting up. I know these trucks are not infamous for having turn signal issues, so whats up? Everytime I hit the lever, the signals delay a sec or two, and then work, but if I press the brake, they just freeze. It's under warranty and I work at a chevy dealer so im not too concerned about it, but it's driving me crazy right now. I have not checked the fuse panel, but what fuse would that even be? or would it be some kind of switch on the pedal assembly or
