i bought some outlaw octane booster, the box with the 4 little silver canisters, for all the pinging going on. it's been a couple days now and so far so good, truck is running great and seems to be loving it specially in the top end. anyone get similar results or did i just pay $10 for 14 ounces of gas?

 

i hear those octane boosters are bad.

 

I used the 104+ octane boost in the red bottle before.
maybe its a mind thing, but it feels like it works. Maybe its cuz it cleans out the injectors a lil bit. Who knows!

Guys when they say they boost octane 2 to 3 points,they mean .2 to .3 or 93 to 93.3 octane.Is that worth $10?Most of them use xylene or toulene that you can buy for about $20 for 5 gal at the paint store.It takes 5 gal of either one to boost 10 gal 93 octane and make 15 gal of 100 octane.
