Figured that I'd ask my buds here first before I went googling looking for Vette forums...
My new boss has an 07 Vette (not a Z06
), and I have to change the oil and diagnose a window concern that he has...here's what's going on...
The right side window will go down from the master window switch but will not go up from that switch. The right side switch is functioning properly, and the auto down function is working. The driver side window will go up and down, but auto is inoperative. Neither window has auto up...are they supposed to, or is this part of the same problem?
I'm wondering if the windows just lost some logic or something and need to be reinitialized maybe, or if the switch took a dump. I haven't torn into it yet as the day has just begun and I'm a freakin busy beaver today...
Also, how do you reset the oil change reminder? Is it like my truck where you turn the "key" on (push button start btw), and pump the gas pedal 3-5 times or whatever?
Thanks fellas, any help would be greatly appreciated

Nobody's heard or seen of this huh? Where our GM Techs at lol
I talked to a tech at the local Chevy dealer and he mentioned that there may be a problem in one of the modules in the doors. If I had a TechII I could get a code out of the BCM (he offered to sell me a used one for 1k but as many of you know I'm currently broke
), but I'm SOL as all I have access to are my own generic scan tools and our Toyota/Lexus scanners...which doesn't do diddly for me at this particular juncture
