goshawk23, don't let those little 80 models daytonas fool you, there is several of them with the 2.2 turbo motors running near 500 HP and 10s in the 1/4 mile. I have an 87 shelby z daytona 2.2 turbo myself that is in the 11s, 11.2 is the best it has seen, but normally a 11.5 second 1/4 mile car. Then I have an 85 charger carroll shelby that will have a forward motion enf.3 engine with 500 HP dropped into it, but its gonna be a ground up restoration job. You guys check out turbododge.com to see some of them in the 10 second club, I enjoy these cars more than my truck. They are cheap and easy to build, you can order a complete engine with 500 HP for less than $5,000 that will put them into the 10s easy, there is one in PA somewhere that runs a 2.2 turbo that has dipped into the nines.
But as far as the 2005 daytona ram, it look chessy IMO..............ricer wing from hell.......LMAO

I was coming in to work this morning and see a dodge ram coming up from behind me fast. It was yellow, I thought that business had just picked up. He gets over in the other lane and it had one of the SRT-10 wings on the tailgate. It was a quad cab, so I figured it was one of the new srt-10's, so I thought ****....... It past me and it was just a hemi playing SRT-10 Dress up. Had the old 70's style SuperBee Tail Stripe on it. On the TailGate it had SweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT written across it in the nicest of Rainbow Arch. I'm not exagerating this either.
So I go up and try to entice him into some races and he won't run. I tried him for about 15 miles down I-45. Most of the time he wouldn't stay anywhere near me. Seemed like he was trying to avoid me. Oh well, I tried.
