Anyone get the entertainment PKG. with DVD? how about the bose system,looking for reports on both

 

in general, I've heard the Bose system isn't worth the extra cost, and is very hard to work with if you plan on doing any audio upgrades

 

I had the full DVD pkg in my 04 Tahoe and skipped it this time because I thought it kinda sucked. For what it costs new, there's a million better options available aftermarket. I did order the new truck with LT3 pkg which gets the 6disc Bose. The system sounds 10X better in the CC than the SUV did.

I'm going to do a Nav/DVD head and 2 screens in the headrests this time.

 

ive got the bose and am very happy with it. I havent tried to upgrade anything yet so not sure on how much of a pain it will be.

 

Good info,any other options you like or dislike? wished you did buy or thought was a waist?
