A buddy of mine got me some 03 tail lights for christmas, and the bulb sockets on my 00 don't fit. Does anyone know where I can get just the wiring harness from an 03-05?

 

You should be able to purchase them from gmpartsdirect.com, however, I do not know the part number. You may try some salvage yards also, but if diggin around aint your thing then trying to find it online is your best bet. I'm sure someone will chime in and know the part #

 

Not sure on the part number but be aware there is a recall on the "circuit board" style lamp mount in the 03+ models including the Trailblazer ( might also work if hitting the salvage yards ). They were blowing the brake light bulb every month or so. Check to see if you get an updated model....

 

When I ordered my '03 taillights from the dealership, they came with the harness.

Go to the dealership, they should be able to look up the harness and give you a P/N for it, if there is one. Then find it on the net somewhere cheap.

 

Recall is only on the trailblazer, and gmc models.

Got my wiring harness when I got my lamps.

 

I don't know the part numbers but get ready to get your wallet out because I did check when I did mine and they were very expensive, I ended up getting mine with the harness.
