Default New Squirrel

I guess this is the place for an introduction. I've been a member just haven't been that active on this board. Old truck was a 04 ECSB LT, with all the normal bolt-on's plus a 125 shot, best was 13.6@101. New truck is an 05 CCSSB LT. Have plans on getting this one into the 13's soon as well.

This is what i have planned as of now. If y'all have any suggestions I am open.

1. 3000 Stall
2. Cam 224/224 .563/.563 112 with new springs/pushrods
3. Usual Tranny Work
4. Zex Wet Kit (125 shot)
5. Long Tubes (Dynatech/no cats/x pipe/cut-outs/mufflers)
6. CAI
7. Nelson Tune

I'm piecing it together as we speak, should be ready to woop some *** by the time our race season starts (Sep-Oct) too damn hot right now.

Sounds like you have some nice mods planned. The new CCSB's are nice too

Good list. That should deffinately get you in the 13s. Good looking truck. Wish my dad would trade his 02 Ford supercrew (turd) for a Crewcab.

I talked to a few buddies at the track last night. They almost have me convinced to do a cammed 6.0 swap. What do y'all think?

yeah, i can't see doing a swap w/ 1800 miles on the 5.3, I think I'm just going to beat the hell out of the 5.3 and start looking for 6.0's around the begining of the year. Maybe x-mas time, people usually need money for their "other" family members during x-mas

I have a LQ4 6.o lined up. Just need to get rid of this 5.3.
