I was in Atlanta at the Year One event. Go look in the events section at the pics from there. I had a great time out there. If I wasn't there, I would have been at HRP though.

Greggo,

Yeah, that weight was me in the truck, tailgate off, but everything else on. I need to get my hitch, spare tire, and maybe my bumper removed and replace with a roll pan. I even thought about removing the rear seat. I'm getting 13's on all motor no matter how much work has to go into it.

Billy, you mentioned losing the cats would help. What about just guttin them? Is there any benefit to doing this and if so, what all is required. I still have to be able to get it inspected when the time comes. O2 Sims?

Whats up guys. I finally got to run with my new setup, and I was pretty happy. I did just a tad better than i thought i would do. Not bad for a ECSB 4x4 truck!

60' 2.182
330 5.957
1/8 9.143
MPH 78.10
1000 11.848
1/4 14.131
MPH 97.65

It was shifting into third just before i got to the line, so i know i was loosing a bit on the top end in terms of ET. I think if i ditch the 33" tires ive got now and go back to the stock 31" tires, i can shift into 3rd a bit earlier and definitely hit that 13.

I still have the stock intake tube/box and the stock throttle body from the 5.3, So i figure once i change those out, as well as doing the electric fans, i figure i might pick up 30whp. We'll see, those mods are in the near future. Overall i was very happy with what i ran at the track

Nice to meet a few of you at the track! 02denali, nice truck, sad to see her go. 1slow01Z71, thanks for hollerin at me in the lanes! We'll have to get together again and go to the track.

I didn't get to meet you but I did see your truck run down the track a couple of times. One thing I have to say is, damn your truck can move.

No problem ledfut. Hey sierracrew if you dont have dual exhaust just unbolt the ypipe assembly people have used everything from pipes to big azz drill bits. Basically whatever tickles your fancy. I would just try and knock as much out as possible but make sure to blow them out good with compresed air cause if you dont all thats going through your mufflers. If you have dual exhaust you will have to cut them out then gut them then get them welded back in. I may have a set of magnaflow high flow cats for sale in a month or two basically the same thing as far as flow goes but you wont have to worry about emissions. Im glad my truck is registered in alabama so I dont have to worry about inspection time. Nice meeting everyone anybody going out the friday?
