Default New Distributor and Box come in!!

OK, get home and it's waiting on me. It's a MSD (as if you couldn't tell) Billet Pro Dist. with the 6A Box and Blaster 2 coil. The car has a factory HEI unit on there for some reason.. idk, but it's getting changed when i get a chance. I have a wedding this weekend so it may be first of next week!! I personally don't understand why someone would build this engine and put a stock dist. in it... beyond me.. but its not in there for much longer!!

the factory HEI...

MSD...

That factory HEI system was definitely an improvement over previous designs. Its a cheap way to get a better spark. Of course, it doesnt really stand a change compared to MSD.

dirt_track - i'll try avoid a shock, but the way it looks it's inevitable. So far this week i've been hit with a 120v (wall outlet) and the factory HEI.. lol.. batting a thousand this week
