I was wondering if anyone had some info. on the 6.2L in the new silverados. I built a truck the other day and one of the options was a 6.2L. I know this is the same engine as the Escalade and Yukon Denali but is it All-Wheel-Drive? Will it have a 6-speed tranny? Is it worth getting? When will it actually be available. If you have any other information about it please chime in. I'm looking at getting a new truck maybe at the end of the year or sometime next year.

 

they are available now, crew cab, not rc or xcab, 2 and 4wd.

It only comes in the LTZ. Get a cheaper truck with the 6speed and 5.3L and you can always through a 6.2L or 6.0L in later and save money up front.
