Default Need your thoughts on these 8.1L "bolt-ons"

I've got an '01 Yukon XL with the 8.1L and 4wd, bone stock except for OEM K&N.
First off, it uses a tiny oil filter and it's a major PITA to change. So, I'm wondering if anyone has installed a remote filter setup and maybe tied in an oil to air cooler up next to the tranny cooler. Don't know if all 8.1s come with this but I'm pretty sure I've got the oil to water "cooler"; does that run coolant back to the block, or oil through the radiator?
Also, can I do e-fans on the 8.1? And what about pullies, anybody do those?
And I'm thinking about Stainless Works long tube headers. But I'm not looking forward to finding someone to cut/weld these up right. If somebody tells me they're worth it....

FWIW, the truck is my daily driver and I'm looking for the best mileage pulling my 24' enclosed trailer.

Thanks for looking,
Michael

It should have a oil cooler on it already. It will run trough the radiator. TBryne had a set of e-fans on his 8.1. There is no pulleys available but I recommend headers they are differently worth it. Another thing I highly recommend is a Nelson or Wester tune.
