The truck is a 97 silverado w/ a vortec 350, I was cruisung down the highway at 70 and the truck just dropped down to idle then died completely and wont restart. Fuel pump, filter are both good, any ideas on what is wrong?

check fuel pressure, as well as spark. Pull a plug or two and make sure they have juice. oh and make sure that you have gas in the tank.

 

I changed the cap and rotor now its good
