Default need some help with my A/C....

well boys, my truck is 13 years old, and the AC, well.....it doesnt work that great anymore lol, i wanna completly redo it. I get jelous when i drive my dads duramax, his really puts out lol. so heres my plans, pull the dash out and change the evap. core (its leaking) and probly really dirty, change the blower motor, its wore out and hardly blows. I found a kit on evilbay, its the compressor, dryer, oriface tube, and o-ring kit, all for about $250 bucks. ill replace it all myself, and a guy at work as the stuff to but a vacuum on the system and evac. the system and refill it.

my question is, will this get my AC to where i can hang meat in my truck?
Whats the best freon to fill her up with, i know its gotta be R134-a, but ant certon brand?

thanks guys

Do not use any freon kits from Walmart or Pepboys. Do not use any universal sealers or **** in a can. This will ruin your entire system. Replace the parts yourself and have a shop vacuum and charge it. It is also very important to add the correct amount and type of AC oil.

Any R134 will do, its all the same ****, just listen to what Mrgoodwrench3 said and do not use any freon that has sealent in it cuz it will ruin your AC system.

I use Dupont R134A. Any good shop will have good clean freon. Go to your local dealer or Google local AC repair.
