Question need some help

i will be driving to mexico for the 1st half of sept. i believe last time i went i added about 5k. but i will be driving all over mexico this time. my truck has about 115k. wanted to know if there are any parts that fail around that time? i was going to do the regular maintenance before the trip. i was thinking of maybe replacing the water pump? the truck has a new battery and alternator. have any of you had to replace the starter around that mileage? i installed a trans cooler at about 30k. replaced the trans fluid at around 60k. as of right now i dont have any shifting issues. i will also be replacing the rear brakes.
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
thanks guys.

It's unlikely that you'll have any problems and I don't think there's much more you should do to prepare than change the oil. Just make sure you have insurance coverage for Mexico, take some simple tools and stash a credit card for emergencies. Chevy parts should be easy to come by south of the border if need arises.

I haven't had a problem with a thermostat, but check your belts. If those haven't been replaced yet do it now.
