assuming that size was 285/ 70 /16, that tire height will be 31.7" tall.
Here is the formula:
(section width)x(height70=.70)/(25.1mm =1")=(sidewall height)x2+rim height
285 x .70 = 199.5mm / 25.4 = 7.854" x 2 = 15.708 + 16" = 31.708
