I've been wanting to show pics of my truck I just don't know how. I have the pics on the digital camera/camcorder and also bought the USB cable to connect to my laptop. I plugged them together and it says I may need some software or something??? Any advice?

If you don't have it figured out by tomorrow, bring it with you to the track Friday. I can help you out.

You don't always need the software to transfer picture from the camera to the computer. If you hook up the USB cable to the computer and camera it should see the memory stick in the camera as a drive under my computer. It should contain a few folder and your pictures should be stored in one of the folders. Once you find the pictures you can simply copy them to the hard drive on your computer. Let me know what kinda of camera you have and the Operating System on your computer and I can send you detailed instructions.

It's a panasonic camcorder and camera. The laptop is a dell latitude. When I get home I'll mess with it some more.

O.K. It is a panasonic camera, model no. PV-GS12. I don't know what to say about the computer other than it's a dell latitude.
