Default Need help with fuel pump and injectors

I have put on an l92 intake that came with stock 42lb injectors and i am planning on a t76 turbo kit from KB and have no idea on what injectors i need to change to. Is there anyone who knows what style or a website maybe that might help with this issue? Also, I have seen many threads on Walbro 255 fuel pumps and need some assistance with which one is being used to replace our stock fuel pumps. Can you post a link to a thread that might show what I need?

A way to determin which injectors to get, is to do this...

A naturally aspirated engine has a brake specfic fuel consumption (BSFC) of .45- .55

A Boosted engine has a brake specfic fuel consumption of .55- .65. Knowing this information can help us determin which size injectors you will need rated in pound's.

the math is injector pounds / BSFC x number of cylinders

EX. for 52#

52 / .65 = 80 x 8= 640hp

EX. 60#

60 / .65 = 92.3 x 8 = 738.4hp

Also keep in mind that injectors are rated at 43.5psi (3 BAR) increasing rail pressure via the regulator will yeild an increase in flow rate (makin a 52# act like a 60# and so forth)

the math for that is this.

(new flow/old flow) squared x old pressure

lets make a 52# injector get a flow of 60#

EX.

(60/52)^2 = 1.33 x 43.5 = 57.85 psi of rail pressure

also note that rail pressure shouldn't exceed 75 psi injector function and strength can be at fault.

as for the style of injector im tryin to determin that myself on which innjector can be used with each intake/ fuel rail style

hope this helps.

What HP are you shooting for? 42s would be enough for a while depending on boost and rpm, but 60s would carry you a long long way.

i am only shooting to run 8-10 lbs with my 370 with a dead on tune. So i still cant determine if i should get 60 lbs injectors or higher for my setup. and also the injectors i have already came off of a 2009 Escalade with a l92 intake. What Fuel pump do you guys recommend for this kind of setup?
