Default Need help!!!!

-I drove my truck home from the girlfriends and it was finethen got in it to leave for work and its missing like crazy and the service engine light came on. I checked all the plug wires , clamps on the intake tubes and then reset the computer but still nothing. I was wondering if anyone could help me?? If I can't figure it out I will go buy a code reader.
Thanks Jeff
