best advice i can give is keep a lot of Ziplock sandwich bags around and label everything that you take off if nessacary take pictures of every stage.. Also be careful with the torque converter bolts.. They are hex heads .. I reccomend replaceing torque converter bolts with standard bolts( less hassle if you have to pull engine or tranny in the future.. ) LAstly Don't get in a hurry. I did when installing my cam and had to wait on a mechanic to drill out a a bolt tHAT I BROKE THE HEAD OFF OF. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grippy, that Chrystler style puller is the exact one i use. Its freakin BADASS!! However, you may need to space it against a larger 3/8" drive socket. Put a small plate over the hole or something so you dont FUBAR the threads.

thanks guys, I have more room to work with in the 2500HD, if I can't set the head on there outright(studs installed) I may just be able to set it on there, and thread in the studs. There looks to be quite a bit of clearance
or I can put the engine on a stand.....might be easier since I'm replacing te rod bolts.........but then thats two more tools I have to buy........
