Default Modifying to fit 15" wheels

How much work is involved in modifying to fit 15" wheels on the rear of my '04 Silverado? I'm Looking to mount slicks but not sure if its worth it.

I'm looking at using these wheels

Although I have not done it, I have been told by a couple different folks that all you have to do is file down the brake calipers(?). I had thought about doing that, but didn't want to mess with my brakes.

Why not use 16's and get 16" slicks?
