Default Misfire On NNBS What Could It Be ?

first of all my mods include pacesetters LT's Cam stall ORY fully bolt on ... ok so been having this misfire for a while now ... when i put headers the plug wires on drivers side were touching but never did anything about it till about almost 2 years later ... changed the 2 plugs that were touching and it seems to misfire more .. it ONLY does it at idle ... and SOMETIMES very Rarely during driving ... also ONE of my Front 02 Sensors Are Out ... Could this be the problem or what else ... do i need to change out my spark plugs too if i had the burnt plug for so long ... i have 60k miles ...

any help would be appreciated

If you have a bad front o2 sensor, you need to replace it asap.
A bad o2 can cause missfires also.

Hows it WOT?

I had idle problems before, but the truck would still run fine under boost, turned out to be a spark plug gapped super super tight. Must have gotten dropped or something while installing

Need more info, a lot of variables to consider here.

Have you replaced the Front 02 Sensor or taken care of it? If not how long had the 02 been out in relation to your misfire? You stated "ok so been having this misfire for a while now ...", but didn't give an indication as to when the front 02 went bad so it's really hard to judge if it is the culprit. If you run with your O2s then I would just replace it ASAP, whether it fixes the misfire or not it will at least rule it out of the equation and your o2 will be working again, both positives.

What about plug wires, have you inspected them closely for damage, burnt spots or cracking? Have you tried swapping out the 2 wires with some one else to see if it cures the problem? If they are in rough shape then I would replace them, if not I would find some to borrow for a minute to see if they cure the misfire, if they do then replace the wires if not then they are out of the equation.

Also how many miles are on all the other plugs, close to time to change them all out? I wouldn't think the other plugs would be the problem unless one of them is damaged and you haven't noticed it.

Also have you gone to OReillys or Autozone and had your truck hooked up to a scanner to try and pinpoint the misfire, they will do this for free.

I'm not one that likes to just throw money at a problem with out tying to diagnose it first, but if you are and have the cash then replace the 02, plug wires, plugs and see what happens.

ok well the wires on the drivers side i replaced .. still same ... they were burnt up but not an insane amount ... the 02 sensor has been out for a while maybe about 8 months but i didnt know becuase my check engine light comes on and it just says bank 1 bank 2 lean .... thats the only code that it throws .. right now the truck jsut misfires on idle ... but no check engine light at all ... jsut sometimes it comes on .. for a few hours then it turns off ... dosent flash or anything .. im going to get the front 02 sensor asap though ...

edit also been misfiring for a while now maybe a few months had my coutout open never really noticed it thought it was my cam chopping harder LOL just been so busy havent fucked with it ...
