Default misaligned brake ???

headed out to the track earlier tonight when me and my buddy noticed a high-pitched grinding noise. Found it coming from the right rear side of the truck. Pulled over and found that the brake was crazy hot as was the wheel. Headed home and all I could hear was that noise. It wasn't too loud, but you could definitely tell it was there when I was driving by other cars, walls, buildings, etc. I just got the brakes worked on last week, and I suspect they did/didn't do something that caused this. Any ideas?

Check your e-brakes, they are notoriously shitty on our year trucks. They went back to drums on the rears for a couple of reasons and this is one of them.

Yep, more than likely the e-brake shoe retaining clip broke and the e-brake shoe is probably rubbing the drum part of the rotor.

took the truck to a shop this morning. apparently, the caliper had gone bad. it was just barely rubbing the rotor, causing it to heat up and put some wear on the rotor.
