consider the car sold.
the carfax report was clean / one owner, no recks, clean title, etc...
sealed the deal with him for 11k.
my wife and friend are going take a look at it this sunday. he's going to hook up the laptop to make sure everything is working properly and to overlook the rest of the car for any defects or problems.

Congrats on the purchase, bro. I have a 2000 A4 SS and I absolutely love it. I can't possibly see why all of those guys above dog out the autos, and half of them have never even owned an fbody or even ridden in one.
Anyway, have fun with it and sweet car!!!!
