That sucks. Even a small fire extinguisher will put a fire out if you get it before it gets out of hand. I was out of town for the weekend and the wiring harness for the turbo caught on fire. Luckily I had a fire extinguisher behind the seat and caught it in time.

If you look at one of the pics you'll see 2 ATV on a trailer. Does that help?

sorry to hear about that man..its one of those things that you think happen to other people but it will hit you some time..when i first got my 6.0 running..i had the hood off and i started it up and one of the fuel injectors popped off and all i could see in front of me was fire..scared me shitless..i had to jump back in and get my keyes to were i work and go to the back of the shop to get a fire extinguisher..ive carried one ever since..but i was thinkin maybe the oil line of one the fittings to the sts might have to do with your fire..

Man, I know exactly how you feel. I went through this same situation 3 years ago with my Mazda pickup. The whole cab, inside and out, burned to nothing in about 5 minutes. Luckly, I was just backing out my driveway when it caught on fire so I was able to get out quick and not get hurt. I did burn my hand reaching back in to get my cell phone and a textbook. My insurance came through and got a little more than what the truck was worth. Hope everything works out for you.
