Default LS3 intake in a truck...

You guys that have swapped to the LS3 intake in a truck, what exactly has to happen for everything to fit? What accessories and brackets are moved or used? Thanks for the info. I have searched and maybe not using the right keywords, but can't find exactly what I'm looking for.

If you use the car throttle body you can use 2007+ truck water pump and then just trim the alternator bracket and relocate the idler.

It is somewhat a direct swap. Since the intake sits lower it will hit the water pump so you will need either the car water pump or one from the 07+ truck. and the alternator bracket will need to be shaved some to get the intake to sit all the way down.

Cant use l92 or ls3 heads on a 5.3L. So if you want a car intake on a 5.3L then get an ls6 intake.
