Default LS1 w/nv4500 trans help!

Swapping a ls1 into my 95 c2500. I'm re using the original nv4500 transmission. The ls1 has a flywheel and clutch off a 2001 6.0. When I mount the trans up the throw out bearing isn't even close to engaging the pressure plate....I'm lost. Do I need a flywheel spacer?

you sure its a 2001 6.0?

the 99-00 6.0 and early 4.8 manual trans engines have a longer crank

Yea I ordered a flywheel for a 2001 6.0 from advance auto. Now whether it's the right one or not, idk. It is an 1 1/2" from back of block to surface of flywheel. Is this right?

It has the short flange. I got it figured out a while back. Had to go with an adjustable throw out bearing, ram 1550 flywheel, and a ram clutch
