ive got a 97 gmc sierra with a 4.3 and a 5 speed that i am dropping a 5.3 from an 02 suburban in. Im keeping the 5 speed with the truck so only swapping the engine. not sure about the harnesses and computers though. im not sure how to integrate the old harness/computer and new harness/computer as ive found and been told i need to keep part of the old harness/computer in the truck as it is needed to control other things such as gauges etc. help is greatly appreciated thanks!
