Default LQ4- Shaved intake

I'm swapping an 6.0l into a monte carlo ss. Budget will not call for a new LS6 intake, save that for later. So I'm trying to polish a turd here with the truck intake.

Not worried about the body work/plastic repair work needed as I have experience with that.

Just need to make sure of a few things. I pretty much know what I can and can not shave off but have a question or two.

I have chosen to go with retunrless fuel rails(whenever I find someone selling some)

To my understanding my truck intake now the fuel rails have the regulator on the rails correct? And retunless have regualtor in the fuel tank? I will be using vette filter/regulator setup.

Yellow circle is for the old rails with feed and return, that is for a fuel regulator line??

With returnless rails I should be able to chop that off and shave it as well correct? Want to be 100% sure before I go and do that.

Everything in red I must keep, and to the far right I think is the map sensor connector. There were two black tabs that somewhat kept the connector down and onto the intake. They broke off very easily on accident so I went ahead and broke off the other one.

While driving I shouldn't have any issues with that poping out right?
