Default Low Fuel Pressure - 28-30 psi

Looking for a 2nd opinion other than my own. I haven't driven my truck for almost 4 years. Kids, wife, job, moving, etc. I have everything ready to drive on the road, and it runs like crap.

I took it out on the road, and it sputs, spats, burps, farts, chokes, craps, and everything else. I drove it back into the garage, and decided to test the fuel pressure. I am getting around 30 psi according to the gauge. I have a "Walbro" in that I installed about 3 years ago when I thought I was going to drive it then. I has been sitting with basically no fuel in the tank. I am pretty sure I need a new pump. Thoughts?

The silver lining is the suspension was gone through completely, and it rides great! Now I just need it to run worth a damn!

Mine did the same when I had to replace the fuel pressure regulator. Mine is in tank though. Pull the vacuum line off and see if there is change or if fuel comes out the top.

Fuel filter is probably clogged, especially since it sat with fuel in it for 4 years.

What is your fuel level in the tank?

Did you happen to use rubber hose when you installed your " walbro" ?

And why is "walbro" in quotes?

It was the fuel pump. I had another Walbro laying around that I forgot about. I thought I had the chinese version of a Walbro in there, but it was Made in USA. That was what the quotes were for. Anyway, problem solved!
