Default loss of topend, what is it from

well recently i got new headers, exhuast, tune, stall, and trans. whith all these on the truck has no topend at all. when i punch it from anywhere from 70-90 it takes forever to top out the speedo. i know i know, i shouldn't be going that fast. but anyways.

old exhaust set up: edlebrock shorties to factory catless y pipe. factory y-pipe back with muffler swaped out to a 3inch in dual 2 1/4 out with 45s out the back.

New exhaust set up: pacesetter lt and y-pipe. factory y-pipe back to a new 3in in/out hooker areochamber dumped over the axle.

would this exhaust setup flow more and cause me to loose A LOT of topend. or could it be once of my other recent mods.

i also got a retune from nelson and they didn't have any of my old tune info because they switched softwares since. so i told them exactly what mods i had, and that i deleted my egr and cats. could it be my tune that is causing my loss in topend?

what could i do with my current set up to get back my topend? please help me out. thanks

Lance

i would think tune but you have done a lot of different things to really pinpoint it. you should have a lot more topend even without a retune imo.

If any thing your highend should be better....maybe its just the feel from the verter making it seem differant...

i defently thought the topend would have been better too. but i was wrong. if it is the tune what would need to be changed or looked at. im not sure what exactly nelson changed.

nope defently a noticeable loss in topend, i noticed it and my buddy did too, the speedo doesn't climb like it used to. the topend was one of the things i loved. i could acually screw with people on the e-way, now i get left in the dust.
