Default loose bolts in door again

who else has experienced this? my window sometimes would rattle. i take the door panel off and tighten up the bolts. that seemed to fix the problem. that was last summer.

today, i was cleaning the inside windows and notice my tint had vertical scratch marks on the passenger side window. so i took the panel of the door expecting to find loose bolts again. sure enough.

so i decided to do the same on the drivers side. one of the bolts was missing. it seems to be the same one each time. i am thinking of putting thread lock on it.

Seriously??? One brand is Loc-tite. It's a liquid that you drop onto the bolt threads that "locks" the bolt in place when it's tightened.

To answer the initially question, yes, I had the door rattle problem and then tightened the bolts and so far the problem hasn't returned.

So that's where those scratches came from.

that what i am afraid of. at least it is not as bad as what my buddy did. he knows nothing about cars. not even how to wash them. he had frost on the inside of his drivers side window and took an ice scraper to get the frost off. well, let me tell you that his silver tint doesn't look good anymore on his silver VR6 2000 jetta
