Thats exactly how mine are set up. I didnt notice where you're from but if its cold its all ways easier to spin youre tires and Caltracs really dont help much with out sticky tires they are made for racing Not the street.

well im going to try the 1/4 turn preload and see how it works. I didnt put aluminum bushings in though. has anyone ever run them with the stock bushings.

Yea the cold roads play a big role in spinning the tires but it does it just as bad when the roads are hot. i hope to get the pinion angle setup to help on the street, so i may have to get some aluminum bushings from Calvert

well i have been told to shoot for -3 or -4 but that was with using the aluminum bushings, i dont have them so i was told -5 or -6
Also it doesnt matter what the before angle is because you dont want a positive angle when loaded. so im still going to shoot for a -4 and go from there

I had a little load on mine on my s10 and they hooked good and no wheelhop at all. It was a wheel hopping machine b4. I went to the track and then made an adjustment, now they are like 1/4 inch or so away from the spring and it really helped my 60ft. I like them like that, cause they hit hard and really plant the tires.
