Left Day-Time Running Light Burning Out!

They are 3157's. You need to get some 3157 long life bulbs. ACDelco part number is 3157KX.

That's a common problem with the 99-01 trucks. I don't think it's so much the 02's, but may be wrong there.

i found hyper white bulbs here

the site is ricer, but they ship them out quick with no problems.. i usually get orders in 2-3 days after i put in an order

My left DRL finally burned out after 38,5xx miles.

Will be looking for some 3157KX's I guess.

i guess yall cant turn them off w/ the switch and not even worry about it? i just drive w/ parking lights and fogs all teh time

i disabled them myself because i dont like how they look. just wrapped electric tape over the metal connections on the bulb and stuck it back in the socket. that way i dont have to wory about keeping up with the relay

Is it the law in the states like it is in Canada to be mandatory(day-time running lights)? Cause I am pretty sure i can't turn mine off without disconnecting them.

LOL, that's what happend to me! I made a comment to my wife how I see all these new Chevy trucks with DRL's burned out, and mine were going strong after 4 years...next day I pulled up to a plate glass window where I could see the reflection of my truck and the left side was out I installed some amber long lifes in there to replace the stockers...so far so good.

i took the baches out an added a drl lt/bliker
