Yeah, those are the tailights I originally wanted because of the close to stock look. To bad APC went belly up a couple of months ago.. I could probably find them but if I had a problem there would be no warranty.

So what are your opinions on this IPCW taillight. I went and looked at the chrome without the smoked lense and they look like a good quality taillight. I didn't like them in the pictures but I do like them now that I have seen them in person. Let me know what your opinions are. By the way my Yukon is silver birch metallic..

I have those tails on my denali. I didnt like the anodized reflective red background with the clear lense look. The white caulking look around the seam especially annoyed me.
I went to the hobby shop and got some rose red stained glass spraypaint and sprayed the outside of the lenses several times. They look basically factory red. The only problem is that it's hard to see at night when you back up because I didn't leave a clear section for that...it would have looked odd. They look 10 times better done in red versus clear. The pic here makes them look a little fuzzy, but they really are not.

Yeah, 24's and about a 2/4 drop. I just used some acetone to clean the lenses first then sprayed several light coats to avoid runs (the stuff is SUPER thin, like that model tint spray if you have ever used it). In fact, I did it in sunlight on a warm day so the paint would tack up sooner.
I did put a few layers of spray clearcoat over that thinking that it would scratch easily and would need protection. But about 9 months later it is beginning to peel off, but the red is still staying put perfectly. So I would not recommend doing the clearcoat. I will probably try to strip mine back down to clear lense at some point and re-tint with only the red window paint.
It would be ideal if you could do the inside of the lense, but since they put a shitload of glue on these it'd be damn near impossible to get them apart without damage. I was initially going to use the red window tint film, but all the local tint shops told me that it would not stay on for more than a few weeks, and would be pulled loose by weather and airflow, and since there was no way to get to the inside, it couldn't be done.
